Has anyone used an Aguilar db 900 DI box for live and recording work?

Just looking for tber's experiences of this box.

It all looks good on paper, just wondering if the low output has been a problem for live work.

Wondering if anyone could add to this thread! I recently did some research on Derrick Hodge's upright rig to see what he's using, and Bass Player magazine lists that he uses both the Aguilar DB 900 DI and a Tone Hammer - is there a benefit to having these devices working in conjunction together, and if so, what is it, and what's the signal chain like? Or is it an either/or type of deal?
