Aguilar SL 112 Speaker Replacement Suggestion

I have owned two of the Aguilar SL 112’s for about six months now and the cabs are OK but I found them too tight/hifi, so…..I replaced the stock speakers with Eminence Delta-12LFA speakers. Speakers are rated at 500 watts RMS, 1,000 peak, and add about five extra pounds per cab (cabs were 25 lbs, now 30 lbs.).
Speakers now sound better to me for all types of music! Smoother low end.

PS: not sure if the cab crossover can handle more than the 250 watts RMS but the speakers can!

Thank you for the info. Do you recall what the original SL 112 model Eminence speaker was.

Anyone know which speaker the SL112 uses? Seems to be a mystery.
