Aguilar Sl112 Tweeter/Diaphragm Replacement

Well, it looks like I have blown both the diaphragms in my SL112's over the course of the past couple weeks. Does anyone have any experience replacing those? I emailed Aguilar letting them know the tweeter was just not working on either cab. So, they sent me the ling for the diaphragm replacement. I placed the order, but couldn't find much info online concerning Aguilar cabs and their replacement. From what I have found in general it is pretty easy to replace.

So, any help would be appreciated!

I have the same issue, i.e., having to replace the tweeter diaphragm and you correct there is very limited information on how to do it. The main issue for me is how to take the front grill off without damaging it. The grill is held in place by velcro. Aguilar tech told me that there was two tabs at the bottom to help pull the grill off. I don't see any tabs. By the way the purifying is attached to the grill. If you manage to get the grill off here are the instructions that was given to me:

"It is very easy to install. To replace the diaphragm you need to:

1. Remove the front grill.

2. Remove the tweeter horn. Note the position of the wires so that you can put them back in the same position.

3. Remove the four screws holding the magnet onto the horn. The existing diaphragm then has one more screw holding it down.

4. Install the new diaphragm and reverse the installation steps to put the cabinet back together. There is only one way that the diaphragm will go in, so no need to worry about that."
When my diaphragm arrives I am going to try to make a youtube vid. Good luck
