I'll try to do the math/numbers for you.
Specs:
SL410X
- Power Handling: 800 watts RMS
- Frequency Response: 44 Hz – 16 kHz
- Sensitivity: 100.3 dB 1W 1M
- Impedance: 4 ohms
SL115
- Power Handling: 400 watts RMS
- Frequency Response: 35 Hz – 4 kHz
- Sensitivity: 99 dB 1W 1M
- Impedance: 8 ohms
The 410 at 4 ohms will draw double the power of the 115 at 8 ohms. This works out pretty well as far as the power ratings. At 1200W the 410 gets 800W and the 115 gets 400W

.
At 3 watts the 410 will get 2W and the 115 will get 1W. So the 410 will make 103.31dB and the 115 will make 99dB. At all valid power levels the 410 will be 4.31dB louder than the 115.
When you double drivers, the sensitivity goes up 3.01 dB (theoretical). We can also work backwards.
410 = 100.3dB 1W/1m
210 = 97.29dB 1W/1m
110 = 94.28dB 1W/1m
From this we can figure the SPL of the individuals 10s. In the example above, our 410 is getting 2W out of 3W. The 2W is divided equally by 4; so each 10" driver is getting 0.5W.
Cut the power in half and you expect the SPL to go down by 3.01dB. So if one 10 makes 94.28dB at 1W, it makes 91.27dB at 1/2W
So with 3W total
The combined output of the four 10" drivers is 103.31dB
The output of each individual 10" drivers is 91.27dB
The output of the 15" driver is 99dB
The combined output of all 5 drivers is 107.44dB
The combined sensitivity of all 5 drivers is 102.67dB 1W/1m
The calculated SPL of all 5 drivers at 1200W is 133.46dB
The calculated SPL of the 410 at 800W is 129.33dB
The calculated SPL of the 115 at 400W is 125.02dB
Either cab by itself would probably be more than loud enough for most of my needs. As a young, budding bassist I sometimes entertained the notation that bigger is better. As a veteran pro, I tended prefer to bring only the minimum amount of gear required to get the job done well. I would probably bring one cab, and chose whichever best met my tone goals.
Could both cabs sound better, yes. However there is no guarantee, it might sound worse. If possible, always a good idea to try before you buy.
Good luck!
