Currently taking a small ensemble worksop and the KB player wants to add the tune in the link below to the song list. Personally I think it's a little overly ambitious especially considering we are on week 4 with 4 more weeks to go, AND the tunes we have now none of us can play as well as we could be/should be.



I am looking for a chart for this tune...I haven't found anything out there other than a piano transcription. The bass work (other than the solo), doesn't seem too technical, but it's still going to take some time to pick out that I really don't have.

How would you guys approach this..(Im playing this on electric by the way)

It’s been a while. Did you do it?

How would I approach this?
It’s carried by the key board player and if he wants to do it, no sweat. Each player can listen to this YouTube performance. Then we play it.

I’m a big Jamal fan and feel fortunate to have seen him live.
He used Israel Crosby on bass for about ten years.

We did not do it...There just wasn't enough time.
