Hi all...

I'm from Brisbane, Australia.

I stumbled across this forum when I was looking for reviews and info on multi-effects units. It seems like a great place to hang out.

I've been playing bass on and off since 1989. My primary instrument is drums, which I've been playing solid since 1986, but I really enjoy playing bass as well. Because I don't practice bass much, I'm probably nowhere near as good as I should be...

As for gear, it's pretty basic... I play a left-handed Ibanez GSR200. The amp I use is a Hartke 250W head/2x10 combo. I have ordered a Behringer Bass V-amp Pro since discovering the two stellar threads about the unit on the forums here. I should receive that within a week or so, and I'll give it a good working over. I plan to use it as a preamp to go through my Pro-Tools M-Box Mini so that I can record bass lines to play drums along to.

I hope to invest in a better bass in a year or so... hopefully go up to a 6-string, possibly a Schecter, or something in the same price bracket.

Please note, I didn't play bass for this one! The drum tracks are mine, but I can't claim the bass tracks. My good friend Jeremy plays on this album. He uses some sort of awesome custom 6-string and a plethora of effects... enjoy. I particularly like "Bruised".
