Double Bass Albert Stinson

I play regularly with a pianist named Marshall Otwell, who was Carmen McRae's MD/pianist in the 70's and early 80's. Last night he shared with me that he used to play regularly with Albert in the mid 60's on trio gigs near LA.
If anybody has any questions 1 1about this elusive bassist, I'd be happy to ask him his recollections.

Unless I am mistaken, both Stinson and another great bassist, Ralph Pena eerily perished in accidental fires!

I have a bass quartet (or trio?) composed by Ralph Pena that was given to me by a friend of his. I'm not sure if it was ever recorded.
