Cool. I was actually wondering if that could be done for a custom idea I've been spinning in my head.

It's plain black, all maple and it's served me well for over twenty years and still works great. Never had a problem with it.

Spoilers had passive tone control and a switch to change to high pass filter. I've always used the passive tone control.

Works like any other bass with PTC.

PS: FWIW - Black show up finger prints like nothing else! Maybe chrome or mirror finsh...

I'm sure they would. They'll make just about anything you want.

That would be so cool, I really like the Distillate look! Mind you, it doesn't come before the Series basses or the SC basses, but it is very attractive!

Even if stuff isn't in their catalog, they don't really discontinue. People still order the Elan shape.

I love the options it gives me- 2 low pass filters, 2 Q's and a pan + the bass and treble quick change switches.

It provides me with all the tweaking I need- keep me away from a Series bass for sure.....
