Alembic GAS!

No clue. I cheated! Checked out your profile.. :hiding:

Ok ya little sneak, you get extra credit for being smart enough to look there and honest enough to admit it.!:hyper:

Here's some more peeks...

1998 Alembic Essence with the standard volume, pan and magic "Q" filter. Flamed Maple on Mahogany with an Ebony Slab finger board. Love this bass, strictly studio work for this one.

Thanks for the kind words. Funny thing is, darn near every Alembic I've ever seen has amazing top woods, neck woods, headstock woods, layering and hardware. Not to mention perfect playability, stellar electronics and tone to die for. They are in my mind, the pinicale of bass fabrication.
Sure there are some great custom basses out there by other luthiers and semi production shops (Ritter, Jerzey, Pedulla, etc.) but Alembic is one of the few that has the whole package with it's own unique hardware (love the two piece bridge and how they customize it), unique electronics (of every flavor you can imagine), unique body shapes (in everything from full blown goth to more traditional without being another Fender copy) and of course every type of wood top and wood sandwich you can imagine and then some. All put together with the utmost precision and elegance.
Long live Alembic!

I think you forgot the most important ingredient, each Alembic instrument is infused with love, and a long family history of multiple generations.

As I just read this, I realized most people will think I'm BS'ing, but it's absolutely true.

I feel like some poor relative posting my "entry level" beginner Alembic! :)

It's pretty bad when posting a 6 string blank plank fretless Alembic in mahogany and flamed maple is like showing off your Squier! :(

Ah, but don't fret, you live in a palace surrounded by disco balls, my friend!
