Veneer has been stained, and attached. And, it looks like the back has been sanded for finish as well. Me, I would've done the black on the back first, before applying the veneer. But, maybe he thought it'd be better to do it this way. I guess it be easier to hide the seam hitting that with the veneer stained and in place. I don't know.

Face of body is done. And beautiful, I might add.
Back is not black yet.
Finish gloss has not been applied.
Neck has been manufactured, and appears to be ready for coating.
Although, it was supposed to have white shark fins. Not standard dot inlays. I've messaged back about it. Now, We'll see how easy to work with this builder really is. It's always all good, when things are all good. How companies handle problems, mishaps, or other mistakes is when you find out how they really are. Know what I mean?
How did it turn out for the fingerboard ? When they did mine, they did a first fingerboard with dots inlays as well, while I had asked no inlays at all on the maple fretboard. The seller just told me to not worry and they actually did a new fretboard without any inlays replacing the previous one.
I assume that they did the same for you ?
That's one of the points that I appreciated with the seller. Though there was some points of misunderstanding, he was happy to correct the eventual mistakes without having me to really strongly ask for it. Simple demands, instantly accepted.
