No more religious than your High Pass Everything avatar. (You-people are proliferating, I'll have to read your scripture, see if it has validity in my world...) Anyway, for something to be considered religious it has to be referring to a religion, which this discussion Is Not (except for the people who make the semantic distinction between sacred and secular music categories found in a few traditions). You posted a definition from your chosen source that does not mean religious, it can mean "respected" or revered with no reference to a religion at all.

Frank Zappa once declared that Philosophy of the World, a discordant, little-heard rock record from 1969 by four unknown sisters who called themselves the Shaggs, was “better than the Beatles.”

Hi folks :)

Kurt Vonnegut also said:

"The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possible can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.”

and he said:

“To be is to do - Socrates

To do is to be - Sartre

Do Be Do Be Do - Sinatra”

and:

“True terror is to wake up one morning and discover that your high school class is running the country.”

and a really funny one:

“Those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand.”

:D I like the guy!
