All music is sacred

I also disagree, some music is garbage. (product conceived and produced to appeal to and maybe alarm certain "consumers"). How can this be sacred?
"Sacred Garbage" would've been a great band name had "Garbage" not already been taken.

When I was in music school, many of my professors played in club bands on the side. They played mostly 40-50's style legit with horns, upright bass, tiny pa, brushes on the drums, etc. They thought most of the Beatles and Bob Dylan's music was garbage. Why? Because they didn't connect with it.....Just sayin.
And thank goodness for that!

Once we define "sacred" we may proceed talking.

Any music that is racially, ethnically, religiously or sexually insulting or demeaning is not sacred. I suppose that it could be considered spiritual to some, but I would argue against and would seriously question the spirituality of those.
"Shooting in the Sacred Dark" would be a great album title.
There's a lot of music I wouldn't call sacred...
There are countless jingles written for advertisements that are created specifically along a set of psychological guidelines to embed themselves into your conscience thought. It's not art to be appreciated or entertainment to be enjoyed. It's essentially brainwashing designed to make sure a message or agenda sticks with you.
Also, music is commonly used by fanatical religious and political groups To indoctrinate young members. To quote an article I recently read regarding the Hitler Youth:
"Hundreds of HJ (Hitler Youth) music groups were established, which performed at birthday parties for high-ranking Nazi officials and at Nazi festivals; some even performed internationally. Group singing was considered particularly important as a means of building group cohesion and obedience, and numerous songbooks were published for this purpose."
It would be hard to call that music "sacred". In fact, the wide stead use of popular music in American political campaigns also mostly nullifies the idea of any music really being sacred.

I'm of the opinion there is no such thing as an entirely bad genre or style of music...just people who do it poorly, some with vastly more than others. I can find something good in basically any decade or genre, (even Tuvan Throat Singing 
) but they may take far more effort in some than others.

sacred is a human idea and is not provable. if you believe something (including anything conceived and produced) is sacred, that is your reality.
True, but one man's garbage is another man person's good ungarbage.
This essentially describes what is commonly called sacred music.
