IIRC, AI was only used used to "clean up" the noise from John's home cassette tape. It was NOT used in the generative process of the new group recording. That's a big difference.

Actually, I think using AI generative features, versus noise suppression such as for Now And Then, is very much the point here! The Dolby noise suppression process never had a music generation function, so nobody ever complained that it could displace beginning musicians. It's very much the generative features of AI that are the new perceived threat.
In fact, I take issue with calling it an "AI-assisted track" being misleading in this case. It's no more artificial, or threatening, than any Dolby-assisted or ProTools-assisted track!
