George's nightmare! Two Pauls!! And one of them has two heads!!! Waaah-Waaaaaah!!!!
I was this many years old when I first heard of this!
"A cleaned up version of the infamous Backyard Tapes recorded by Paul during the filming of "One Hand Clapping" in 1974. I've made some kind of restoration: most of the loud tape hiss has been removed by noise suppression and some EQing and imaging has been made to brighten up the performance.
"The Backyard" or "The Backyard Tapes" is an acoustic performance recorded on Friday 30th of August in 1974 in the yard behind the echo chambers in Abbey Road Studios. The performance was also filmed with two cameras, but (by now) only less than 4 minutes of footage has surfaced. It's said that only 9 minutes of the 25-minutes set was filmed, after which they ran out of videotape.
The setlist also contains "Blackpool", a McCartney penned tune which he later told was one of "a number of songs which I would just sing but not really record. They were mess-around songs, and this was one of them."
And the longer, full audio only:

I believe from memory this Australian Beatles concert was held in Melbourne after Ringo joined them. Jimmie Nicol filled in for Ringo here in Adelaide. Ringo never made it to the start of the tour because of tonsilitis and Nicol was hired to fill in for him so the very first 1964 Australian concert of 2 nights, in my hometown of Adelaide was missing poor ill Ringo. Adelaide is known for having hosted the Beatles' arrival with the largest crowd they ever encountered in 1964. An estimated 300,000 people lined the streets to welcome them as they traveled from the airport to the city centre. This event is considered a pivotal moment in Australian music history.
He managed to join the rest of The Beatles for the next leg of the tour for the Melbourne concert.

I believe from memory this Australian Beatles concert was held in Melbourne after Ringo joined them. Jimmie Nicol filled in for Ringo here in Adelaide. Ringo never made it to the start of the tour because of tonsilitis and Nicol was hired to fill in for him so the very first 1964 Australian concert of 2 nights, in my hometown of Adelaide was missing poor ill Ringo. Adelaide is known for having hosted the Beatles' arrival with the largest crowd they ever encountered in 1964. An estimated 300,000 people lined the streets to welcome them as they traveled from the airport to the city centre. This event is considered a pivotal moment in Australian music history.

Well, Giffy, you posted a couple of videos a few years back, but I don't remember what that second one, now unavailable, was. I blame my ol' timer's disease. 
I like the audio of your new video, but not a fan of the DJ's face overshadowing the Beatles video. Meanwhile, here's a "video" of a still photo from from that concert with another good audio of it.
ALSO, I vaguely recall pointing out (to someone somewhere) that I didn't think that Jimmy Nicol had done any recording while filling in for Ringo. "Now, I find I've changed my mind. I've opened up the door." (So to speak!) Apparently the Adelaide concerts were recorded and made into an LP record album!!! Who knew?
Saw Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles couple weeks ago.

Several years ago, I saw Rain and had a meet and greet package and also sat through their soundcheck. Super nice guys and great Beatles tribute band. The bass player is right handed and learned how to play left handed. Not easy to do plus sing.
Yeah, that's Paul Curatolo on bass. He took over for his dad Joey Curatolo who has since retired.
We've seen them a number of times throughout the years. We met 'the Paul' and he told us that he was a righty who learned upside down for the gig

RAIN has gone through multiple cast changes over the decades, and it wouldn't surprise me if there are multiple RAIN bands under the same ownership that play all over the world. There have actually been several John, Paul, George and Ringo's over the years. Mark Lewis is the Owner, MD and brains behind RAIN.
The first time I saw RAIN was in the early 80's at the L.A. County Fair. "Paul" was played by a guy named Chuck Coffey, and the rest of the cast was different as well. In those days, Mark Lewis was actually on stage with his keyboards (but not dressed like one of The Beatles.) A few years later, the entire cast had changed, with Joey Curatolo as Paul, Jim Riddle as John, Joe Bithorne as George and Ralph Castelli as Ringo. Joey played right handed.
Joey and Claire Curatolo's son was named Paul (no surprise, huh?.) When he grew up he eventually replaced his dad, Joey. As you stated, Paul plays left handed (as does Ardy Sarraf in The Fab Four - he eventually learned to play left handed as well.)

I organize festivals and concerts and I have booked Beatlemania Magic a couple times and have seen them several times. They do an early Beatles set and a later Beatles set in their show. They are very good and very nice guys. They really entertain the audiences and are a lot of fun. A great band to work with and I hope to do more concerts with them.
