The Beatles cartoon TV show debuted 60 years ago this week.
Agreed. I've been collecting for years.
Born John Charles Julian Lennon in 1963, it wasn't until 2020, at age 57, that he legally changed his name to Julian Charles John Lennon to better match the name he'd always been known by, to assert his own identity. Official documents, including travel tickets, had always emphasized his legal first name, John. After receiving his comparatively meager trust fund after adulthood, Julian had to sue his father's estate only to settle out of court after 17 years of litigation for a very small percentage.
Ironically, the elder John had hard feelings for his own absentee father, Alfred, or Freddie, yet didn't do much better for his own first born son. This from his heart wrenching song "Mother":

I really like seeing young people " discover" The Beatles. I was doing the same thing at 14 in 1976. I was in Germany so i got Euro versions, i guess. As an Army brat, my peers made fun of me for only owning Beatle albums at the time. I didnt get why everyone didnt like them. Even later on, i investigated rock music from the past. Young people should do that. I think it helped me to become a good Bass player too.
