I just saw something that speculated on what if George was not asked to join the Beatles?
Initially John Lennon wasn't in favour, as he thought George was too young.
So how big would they have been without George?
I think they still would have been big, but not as big.
They still had Lennon/McCartney songs as the main ingredient, etc.
But the mix would have been different--and the combination of personalities as well as missing George's songs, etc. There would have been a lack of things--and while they still would have been quite big--it wouldn't have been the same.
Of course we can speculate on who else may have been int he band instead.
Or would they have been a trio after Stu left?
