All Things Must Beat. Share Anything Beatles!!

Thanks for the reminder, Jimmy! It's been almost a week since that link was last posted in this thread. Not to mention seeing it all over other parts of the web. ;) Yes, I'm definitely looking forward to it. Love this sneak peek and looking forward to more before release next summer.

On another note, Mr. TB Member 042, is there a way us latecomers can tell our number, do you know? Interesting!
.
Mouse over your Name & look in the bottom left corner of the screen, Mr. 289,525.

It's Christmas...so I'll let you slide on "Jimmy".
:D

Ta, JimK. :) I apologize for my familiarity. It is my one weakness. I so enjoy this forum and interactions with its many and varied members, which I did not realize were so numbered!

You've taught this old dog a new trick and I thank you. ;) Merry Christmas! And to you and yours a very happy, and safe, New Year!

Speaking of gear, this local guy has written books on the subject and has a nice shop. I'm not associated or trying to sell anything. Andy Babiuk...

Andy Babiuks Fab Gear | Rickenbacker, Fender, Gretsch, Martin, Deusenberg, Vox and more. Its all fab gear!
Yep - he's the dealer who commissioned Ric to make the limited run of Snowglo w/Checkerboard Binding "Fab" basses 2 years ago. I'd been waiting for such a combination for years and ordered one to use in my Beatles band as soon as they were announced:

Just teasing! My current Director, a hulking ex-SEAL, calls me Jimmy, too...I always remind him that the only ones that call me "Jimmy" are (1) mom & (2) classmates I have known since Kindergarten. :)
I notice people from the North, always do it...
I figured once Dad passed, it was-to-be "Jim" 24/7. Doesn't always work out that way. :)

Trust me, I enjoy the banter here at TB.
Merry Christmas!

I unnerstan. My son, Joey[sic], prefers to be called Joseph now that he's a father, also. ;) But, he's been Joey to me for over 40 years and that ain't changing anytime soon. However, for clarity, I try to refer to him as Joseph to his wife and in-laws. But, to his face, even with rolling eyes, he is Joey to me. His kids love it. They sing, "Dad's a baby kangaroo! Dad's a baby kangaroo!", every time they hear me, since he once protested that he was NOT that. :roflmao:

BTW, I now see the TB Member Number at the end of the web address for each member's info webpage, such as /www.talkbass.com/members/jimk.42/ I think I noticed the much longer digits there before but never gave them a second thought. Now they have meaning! Thanks, again.

‎And the Band Begins to Play. Part Nine: The Definitive Guide to the Beatles’ White Album

For all you iPad owners, I highly recommend this series of books. The above link is to the White Album book, you can check out about the Helter Skelter session... , and there is a separate book for all the official albums, telling about every song recorded. And the price per book is next to nothing.
There is also a free book, the Yellow Submarine album book, to check this out before purchasing the whole series.
