All Tube Heads - which one?

Mine sports a '71 SL tone stack. Very responsive and gainy. But it usually comes with a '68 SL tone stack which is based on the 5F6-A circuit. Yeah, if you didn't know. Marshall copied the Fender Bassman for most of it's amps. The Sunn Model T uses a variation of the 5F6-A circuit too.

That's Boot Soles amp's backside rather than mine, mine hasn't got those grass skirts, and they are gas mantles on the KT88's, old recording trick it stops the valve retainer springs making noise when things get loud.

I am so lucky I never had to deal with those spring retainers. Super Lead, or SL for short. He can make a Hellhawk like a Super Bass instead though.
Type of tone I'm going for: Pretty clean for the most part although it would be nice to get some drive when I need it. I'm thinking the Reeves or Mesa are probably my best bets, but I've also been looking at a Morgan MP200. Anyone have experience with this amp? How would you compare it to the Reeves? I know the Reeves can stay really really really clean even at high volume levels, and I'm wondering if the Morgan is similar in this regard. I've also heard the Morgan has a ridiculously rich low end thanks to transformers that extend below audible frequencies - any comments on this?
from the list in the orignial post, i'd narrow it down to the Orange, Mesa and Ampeg. I've been GASing for all these amps and would own each if i was born a very rich man's spoiled son.
From there, it gets tough.
The Orange does not really cover a wide range of sounds, you get Orange - but that might be enough, depending on what style of music you're playing.
I think i'd personally see that candidate drop off my list because of the limitations, leaving me with
the Ampeg and the Mesa.
The Mesa is smaller, lighter and has a few more knobs to tinker with your sound.
The Ampeg has more booty - both to carry around and to make the earth shake when connected to cabs.
I could live happily with either of those two.
So i'd take the cab(s) into my decision. If there is an ampeg 8x10 involved, i'd pick the SVT over the prodigy.
If i was playing something smaller, the Mesa would be my choice.
I do not think that the SVT does not sound good with anything else but the fridge, but i think it'll look kind of weird sitting on a 2x12, where the Mesa would be a much better match - just for the looks.

Sounds great, thanks for the clips! Very similar to the Reeves tone as you said. Do you know how much they are? Can't seem to find prices on their site.
No problem. He only gives out prices via e-mail, but the Mother runs 2K, which is his most expensive amp.
Any chance you could upload those overdriven clips of the Mother? And maybe a shot of the guts if you have one available?
