Allparts Jazz Bass Neck

I have one I'm using on a project and have used it on other bodies in the past. It was nothing like the Ged neck that I got later. Much bigger feeling, more round. Not that it's uncomfortable. It actually is a very nice neck and I enjoy playing it, it's just not a Geddy jazz neck.

Would you equate it to a regular jazz bass neck? Just curious.
It’s been years since I’ve owned one of these necks, so this is just based off memory. There are so many versions of Jazz Basses, I don’t know what “regular” would be, but I would say the Allparts neck is a little bit beefier than average, while still having a 1.5” nut width.

It also has a slightly flatter radius, but only by a little (10" vs. 9.5").

@51506662112; Why not simply get a Squier VM '70s Jazz neck? It may not be as thin as the Geddy-sig, but the frets, nut-width and radius are all identical. The one I got for this "projekt" serves me quite well and cost me way, waaaaaay less than an AllParts neck. ;)

I actually have a Squier 70s VM bass. The neck is quite comfortable. I'm just looking for a neck with pearl block inlays.

I'm really liking these necks more and more...They are a little beefier front to back and I think that adds to 'fuller tone' so to speak as well.

They are well worth IMHO
