Almost beyond belief - I don't think this can be beaten

Have you checked out the other North Korean child guitarist videos? Maybe it's just me, but I find the whole thing a bit creepy.

To be fair, the girl in the video above actually plays with some feel. You don't see that in your typical "child virtuoso" type videos.

Something definitely wrong here. I can't tell if the videos are faked or what's going on but it just can't be right or good...

One of the videos I saw of a tiny little girl playing some complicated xylophone piece even mentioned her beautiful smile making the performance perfect. I hope the kids are having a good time and really enjoying their achievements but I don't have a good feeling about it.

Typical Korean kindergarten?

Wow - just wow...If this girl is 4-5 years old right now, imagine where she'll be musically when she's 20yrs old. Something tells me this is not the last we'll be seeing of her. Amazing - thanks for sharing! :)

Done right, it could be her ticket out of that hellho...ahem...country.

Just like the basketball/baseball/football stars in thw USA, it's great (also possibly lucrative) to be really, really good at something.

Meh. Let's see you do it. I know I couldn't.:rollno: (90% of the posters here probably couldn't either)

So yes, it is impressive.

Did I ever say I could? :eyebrow:

Simple fact of the matter is with modern media channels "discoveries" like this happen all the time, and quite frankly it's left me rather dry at this point. I'm more curious to know rather or not her parents (like many others parents with gifted kids) are forcing this on her whether she likes it or not. Talented? You bet, but I could honestly care less at this point.

Well, with her talent she could be one of the world's greats, joining a list of people that started with precocious talent just like she shows--a Korean Mozart or Bach story. I hope she makes it and can have some happiness with her talent.

Uhh, that is

if she does not executed at some point for suspicion of defection as she gets older and decides her society sucks. Many, many "ifs" in this child's life in the wonderful communist heaven of North Korea.
