Altered Tunings

Hey guys, I've recently become the proud owner of a zon hyperbass so I've been getting into all the altered tunings. Found some nice ones already, especially D,A,D,A with the hipshots set to drop a whole tone, which I've written a few pieces in. Im using medium/light guage 35-95 strings, do any of you piccolo users have any other nice tunings you've found?

Best,
Danny

I also have been using DADA tuning quite a bit. In the past I have used DADF#, DGDG, and ADADA, BF#BC#G# on my fiver. The latter five string tuning was awkward at first but pretty cool once I adjusted to it

I've never understood the idea of installing a new tuner for drop D, but after seeing some Michael Manring videos, and seeing what you can do with 4 of them, it seems pretty cool.

Rather than sticking with a single tuning, I think I'd be more into switching throughout the piece. Bending the harmonics around with a droning low D sounds awesome.

I have the hipshots set to drop to different set intervals, i was enquiring about the open tunings as a starting point.
