Alternate tunings and ebow- Michael Manring

    What string gauge do you use when you tune your bases C G D A? also, do you use a special ebow for playing?

    For tuning in fifths with the E string dropped down to C I use my standard set -- D'Addario EXL220, 40 to 95 if I remember correctly.

    And the Ebows I use most are completely stock, off the shelf models.
