Alternatives to Cable Television

I've got everything but the crimping tool, and those aren't cheap.

I doubt something that simple would work for me anyway. There's some horrible Radio Frequency Interference coming through here.

IF you live in an apartment or condo, the antennae may not work as well as if you occupy a free standing home.

Most newer tv's are ALL HD and the broadcast signal is too and the cheapie antennae pick up lotsa channels. Even the rabbit ear ones.

The one drawback is, you need a local daily for a TV guide or some such.

Just looked at Titan, no coverage here, and the interface seems slow. Changing location was too much of an ordeal to seek out - particularly when the selections are so limited.

@Killed_by_Death, how's your cable cutting going so far. What's your current setup and are you satisfied with cost, service(s), equipment, etc.?

I did it. Just internet. Roku, and a $20 antenna. Not even paying any subscription fees. Sure there are commercials, but they're shorter. You just have to dive in and find channels with stuff you will watch. I'm about four months in, not really bothered without a tv service.
