That’s gonna be awesome! I’m thinking of maybe doing the same thing.. decibel_sound_implements on Instagram’s making some awesome looking Ripper/Grabber builds, I need to hit them up for a body quote!

Love what decibel_sound_implements is doing, I want one of those RD bodies bad (not sure if he makes them though)

Yeah I think they’re sourcing those from Rosser, but the fit & finish work they’re doing on them is indeed top notch!

Got any pics of that G3-esque? Love their work! First time I saw their Aluminati Ripper build my jaw dropped. They pair so well together!

I've just got a trashed Squier Jaguar neck on there from another project for now, but the body is a work of art. It's SUPER heavy though, in true Grabber fashion. Jerimy has a good relationship with Avedissian Pickups and put three '51 P pickups in there. It's also wired a little differently from a typical G3 - five-way switch (neck, neck + middle, middle, middle + bridge, bridge).

NICE— this is exactly what I wanna get! Excellent taste, there! I’m torn between the G3 style pickups or Ripper single coils though. Looks AMAZING

Aluminati P build arrived this morning— it’s getting new strings & a black Badass II bridge, but as is sounds like a friggin’ chainsaw! Feels great, too!

Seymour Duncan makes reproduction Ripper pickups and I'm SURE someone out there makes something close to the ol' Bill Lawrence pickups from the G3...

I'm not sure how far back Jerimy's build queue is now, though. I think I got on at a good time, because he started it pretty much right away despite saying it would be a few months before he got to it.

Oh yes. It’s what I was hoping for and has certainly exceeded my expectations!

Sweet! It’ll be a minute before I inquire about getting one made, but maybe I’ll get in touch a bit earlier just to get the ball rolling.

I have a spare Aero Instruments Travis Bean replacement neck pickup taking up space in my parts bin.. I may order a matching bridge pickup & see about shipping those in to be installed.. exciting to think about!

Chrome Hipshot Kickass & fresh set of GZR P pickups will be installed too. Oh and will peel the plastic off the guard lol

Man, that's a great looking bass! I've heard some awesome sounding '51 P-style pickups, three of them must kill! I've been interested in the idea of 3 pups, but never knew how I would wire them until I saw the Gibson LP BFG bass. vol/vol/vol/tone, and a kill switch. That would be perfect for me.

I know Amos Heller demoed an Alpher Mako with only on/off switches for the controls. No volume, no tone. That's a pretty accurate representation of how my Gee3/Gripper/whatever-you-wanna-call-it sounds.

... But I still need that neck!!

Busted out a fresh set of 45-105 DR Hi-Beams for the metal neck build & did a proper setup w/ the Badass II.. boy oh boy what a nice sounding git. The added height of the hi-mass bridge plate + new strings really opened this thing up.. Aluminati truly knocked it out of the park with their neck design. Feels SO GOOD shameless crappy practice room floor photo incoming
