My urine is like toothpaste. The real battle is against your habits. Make it a thing to get up in the morning, or before bed, or both, and have a tall glass of water.
How do you know you're dehydrated?

Just drink more water? Seems like an obvious solution. Not too hard to "make" yourself do it: take a glass of water and pour it down your throat.
Be more active?
Consulting a physician is probably a good idea as well.
You are right on point, sir. 2,300mg is the recommended daily intake. The average American diet sees almost 1,000mg more per day. There's an incredible amount of salt in regular consumer foods. You'd probably be very surprised how much you use compared to what's recommend by health professionals..
Damn it, S, I thought some guy was pissing in the cat's mouth.Need to make drinking fun.
Do this.

I have always been a little erratic about my hydration, because I too, rarely feel thirsty. Due to a confluence of other situations, I am currently trying to schedule the removal of a giant kidney stone. You definitely don't want to risk this.
I hope they're scheduling that as soon as possible. I had a non-giant one and it was far and away the worst pain I've ever had - for a week. When I captured the critter half of it was smooth like the moon and the other half looked like one of those spiked medieval flail weapon thingies.
Thank you for the reminder to go drink some water this instant.
This one was roughly the size of a chickpea. They reduced it with lithotripsy, but half of it is still there.
Wow. Do you make these often?
Public Service Announcement to all within earshot: Drink more water.

I hope you're talking water and not tequila. Can't say I'm the same. I easily down 144+ ounces a day.
Be sure about the herb tea you are using. Some are diuretic, just like real tea or coffee.have you tried cold fizzy water? i like water or herb tea, but when i'm not in the mood for either, cold sparkling water does the trick for me. in fact, it seems to go down effortlessly.
you could also try slices of cucumber and lemon in a pitcher. or oddly i like parsley in cold water.
drinking enough water can help rid your system of sodium, which can help your bp. it can also protect you from getting UTIs. and it can give you more endurance.
Isn't that a good thing? More liquid intake and more liquid excretion.Be sure about the herb tea you are using. Some are diuretic, just like real tea or coffee.
If you are not drinking enough water, then it is a bad thing. At least according to my doctor who is always on my case for too much coffee and not enough water.Isn't that a good thing? More liquid intake and more liquid excretion.
Oooh, didn't think about it that way. I drink a whole lot of coffee and a decent amount of water but probably not enough. I tell myself I can have all the coffee I want cuz I drink it black with no sugar. I should drink more water. If you are not drinking enough water, then it is a bad thing. My issue, exactly. Now here is the weird part. As someone said in this thread, you get enough salt in commercial food. I bought into that and quit putting salt on anything. Last year at my physical, my doctor said I was low on sodium.Oooh, didn't think about it that way. I drink a whole lot of coffee and a decent amount of water but probably not enough.
