Just noticed this thread - I'm on this forum from time to time, but not nearly as often as I'm on the Other Forum.
Just making sure, I didn't want to make any assumptions...Well yeah ? Otherwise how could I exchange with the others here ?
French speaking acadian from where all the cajun ancestors originaly came from, eastern atlantic provinces, and I put Maple syrup on my bacon, my french toast, my eggs, especialy my cereals, on ice cream, when we cook a big ham we pour maple syrup over it while its cooking, we buy it in gallon jugs direct from the Producer, we have maple butter, maple caramel spread, maple toffee, maple sugar pies, and enough maple syrup products and sweets to put a normal person into a sugar induced coma !
