Canada Am I the only Canuck here!?

all you folks seem to speak (or at least write) in very good english. my wife and i vacation in southampton, ON, every summer but i'm always reluctant to go because i don't speak canadian as well as she does. she loves it there, but again, she's fluent in the language.

i'm working on my canadian language skills, though, so.... "thanks"

Here is a helpful guide to becoming a hoser (step 3 is important, it contains our unofficial national anthem "Why buy a mattress anywhere else"):

ashbory , ha! hilarious! thanks for that! in spite of my previous post: we love the annual trip to your country, and find that most canucks have a wonderful (dry?) sense of humor and are generally eager to please with both hospitality and acceptance.

but the video is priceless --- just shared with the wife and she's still laughing! thank you!

L&M is a outlet I rarely go. A nice bunch of folks, but it would cost me 10% restocking fee to bring something in and not like.

It's a hard sell to ask when $100+ is involved, and being only a bass player now, they rarely have my strings, so I order on-line.
(is Glenn the manager? I forget who swings the whip there(

Note, my buddy who passed last year used to be the manager a couple of years back :(

KC is the manager

Schwartz is a bit overrated, IMHO. I'm more of a Nower guy.

Severely underrated IMHO.

This caught my eye! I knew Mark Nower back in the late 70s and early 80s when I lived in Montreal. I went to Quebec Smoked Meat in Point St. Charles several times as well. Glad to hear they`re still there. Talk about a blast from the past!
