Freezing the balls off a brass monkey is how it is.
It's a wicked -26 C with the windchill atm and if you ask me the local wind is worse then the report says. Mind you I'm on foot and just walked to the local library to check out TB and make this post. I guess I'm acclimatized now lol. That's about -15/20 in Fahrenheit. It was into the -30's last night w/o the wind. Helped a friend replace a frozen battery in his truck this aft. Tis the season...
All told it's actually been a good winter so far. Just a little cold snap that's all.

Everywhere has it's down side--hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanos, mudslides, forest/brush fires, high crime rate, very high water table, flooding, Cold weather, etc, etc.I dont know how you prairies guys do it, I'm in saskatoon the next 2 days, its freaking cold.....

Yeah, it took me a few years to get used to the sometimes freakish prairie winters after coming here from NL back in '91 but the payoff in return is a long motorcycle riding season for those of us so inclined.I dont know how you prairies guys do it, I'm in saskatoon the next 2 days, its freaking cold.....

Pahh! I don't know where that idea came from; around here we keep these things clearly separated. In fact, I prefer homemade raspberry jam on my pancakes, to maple syrup. Back bacon is good though, a low fat alternative to belly cut bacon. But are you a "real" Canadian? Do you like maple syrup on your (back) bacon?
