my vote is Toronto, or Vancouver. Even though no sane person can afford to live in either of these cities, the music scenes are quite vibrant and fresh.

Yeah prices are reasonable in Montreal. House prices are out of control here glad I am already in the market.

L&M is a outlet I rarely go. A nice bunch of folks, but it would cost me 10% restocking fee to bring something in and not like.

It's a hard sell to ask when $100+ is involved, and being only a bass player now, they rarely have my strings, so I order on-line.
