What a gorgeous, ancient land. The Lithuanians and Latvians have lived in their homeland longer than almost any other people (the Balts never migrated after they initially settled in the region, unlike most of Europe which went through several great migrational periods) and the longest holdout of the ancient pagan beliefs of Indo-European people.
