Hoover Dam, 2010.

Rode with the California Highway Patrol, on a training ride, to the dam, and back. We went through Baker, Pahrump, lunch in Las Vegas, and onward to Hoover.

That's my Ducati Supersport, in the foreground, the overfly bridge is not yet finished, and my brother is on the right, surrounded by a group of tourists, who were all, actually, retired Scottish Bobbies, on holiday. They were completely fascinated by the CHP bikes, and the weapons they carried. Gentleman, all.

I was in Vegas in 2007 and hired a Harley for the day for a ride out to the dam. I've always been a sports bike rider and this was my first time on a Harley. I think I returned it a couple of pounds lighter due to all the metal I left on just about every corner scraping the footbaords and pipes.
