I recently bought a Goodwill great condition 20 year old DSLR, a Canon 20D with a 28-300mm Tamron lens for ~$50. For being 20 years old it's still a very capable camera.

Thanks! It came with one battery and a charger and so far, yes, it seems good. Although, who knows if it's the original battery or not.

I still have and occasionally use my old Digital Rebel XTi. I'd spend more money in packing material and in gas to take it to UPS to ship it than I'd make from selling it, so it's just not worth selling at this point. But, as you said, it's still a capable camera.

My "good" camera is a 7D, which isn't much newer than my Rebel XTi. I'm not shooting much anymore so I have no plans to replace it yet. But I'm getting closer and closer to retiring and I'm thinking that new camera gear will likely be my gift to myself when the time comes.

Not a photo, but a video. It's Tom Dempsey kicking (what became) a new NFL record field goal on Nov. 8th, 1970. I still love watching this. He won the game for the New Orleans Saints 19-17 over the Detroit Lions. The man also had just half of his kicking foot. Such an inspiration. Sorry for such a grainy video, but I also love hearing the announcers go ape over his kick.

That was back when they were still kicking straight on, not at a "soccer style" angle.

No need to apologize for the "grainy video" - I love that "NFL Films" look! Moments like this and the "Immaculate Reception" just wouldn't be the same in 4K Ultra HD.

Slime mold makes a lot of appearances in microscopy, since it forms otherworldly outgrowths in different shapes. This little mold is magnified 10 times.
