I like the mountain pictures, here is Mt Shasta CA.

and my local mountain, Mt Diablo. 3849 ft high, but I grew up around its foothills so, I love it a lot.

Mt. Shasta is breathtaking along I-5 (and elsewhere). Shasta and the sister peak Shastina were one Mt. Hood-like conical mountain until the massive eruption blew them apart. I did a quick and dirty paint job showing this; I tried finding estimates to how tall it was pre-eruption but can't find a thing. I'm guessing well over 15,000 ft. At present it's 14,167.
