Why, I ask, did no one in the entire WORLD buy this ONE MTD Kingston Z 6 Translucent Cherry that was available at this price? They only had one.... 6 Billion people... 60% off retail... this was out there, all day.

So, after hoping someone else would snag it, after seeing it still there every time I came back to the computer, I bought this for $781. Normally $1400 everywhere I look, and $800+ used.

I figure I can always sell it for about what I paid without too much trouble.

Now I have a 6!

Here's some nice pictures of what my new bass will look like:

Damn all 6 billion of you for not buying this before I couldn't help myself.

Cool bass and good deal!

Three years ago I watched these drop on Amazon to about the same price, so I jumped on it. It was a sunburst with maple board 6 string. It arrived with a broken off truss rod nut so I sent it back and they sent another. The second arrived with bad electronics, so I called Amazon and they said it was the last one. I said I really wanted this bass at the price I got it for so they advised me to keep until the next shipment came in (as it was expected soon.) A month or so later a new one arrived at my door that was in perfect condition so I sent the one with bad electronics back. When I got my credit card bill, they had refunded me for the bass I sent back, leaving me with a 6 string MTD Z6 in hand for nothing. Can never figure Amazon out....but I won't complain about their deals at times.

I have had that happen more than once with them. And it always involved the same type of scenario where they shipped me a replacement before I returned the original one. One time was a drum kit that came in 2 boxes, but they only shipped one. They re-ordered and said if I got both boxes, just send the first one back, and if the reorder just sent the box I was missing, let them know and we'd be done. I'd also paid for overnight shipping (Prime for $3.99) because it was for a birthday that weekend, which is one reason they bent over backwards to fix it I think. Well, the replacement came and was again just 1 box...and not the one I needed. They told me to keep one again, and return the other. So I sent the other back and they reordered again. They got the return back and refunded my card. I called and told them that was wrong and they shouldn't refund me, so the re-charged me. Next shipment came in 2 boxes like it was supposed to. They told me to ship the other box back, so I did, and said to make sure I wasn't refuned again...said they made a note on the order. When they received it, they refunded my card AGAIN. I was through dealing with it at that point, so the drum kit was free.

Then there was the time Musician's Friend sent me two SKB roto rack cases when I only ordered one. I called and told them, they sent me a call tag to return the extra. Returned it, they refunded me. Called them and they thanked me for telling them and that they'd correct it. They never did. Free case.
