That was a crazy deal. Had to sit on my hands to keep from buying a bass I don't need just because the deal was so good. Someone got it and the remaining one is back up to $1643. Seems like the killer deals are when there are 2 left in stock, and when one sells it bounces back up to the original price. There are a couple Big Al's with 2 left in stock around $1200. 20% off puts them into used price territory.

It actually got down to $1,017, which put it at $814 after the coupon code. Like you, I was having to fight myself from ordering it because of the good deal. Don't need it and mostly play 5 strings these days.

If it was a fiver it would be at my house already. Only reason I didn't is the only four string I have much use for would be a P bass. Somebody got a killer deal. Could probably even flip it for a bit of cash for a local sale.

No, it's two separate TS cables. I like them because they're thick but still reasonably flexible. Too bad they're for keyboards though.

This is indeed an excellent price. I paid $99 I think. These are almost IMO a must-replacement for the stock strings, especially if you're playing in a jazz combo or in a big band like I do. Really decent sounding strings.
