Grabbed an Eden! Thanks for the tip! I've been wanting to try one out, and that's used pricing. Gig bag included too! There's only one left in stock.

Tascam US-16x08 USB recording interface with a pair of Presonus Ceres Bluetooth studio monitors for $299. The interface by itself is normally $299, and it can record 16 simultaneous tracks (8 mic inputs + 8 line inputs).

Amazon.com: Tascam US-16x08 16x8 Channel USB Audio Interface - Bundle With PreSonus Ceres C3.5BT Two-Way 3.5" Powered Studio Speaker with BT Pair: Electronics

I've said this before in one of the other Amazon threads, if you miss out on a deal just add the item to your cart and check on it occasionally since they often go back down after time, sometimes a day, sometimes a month. Anyway the Fusion was at:

I know this is the amazon thread, but RMC has it cheaper than that, with free shipping, at least according to my buyer's club pricing.

Kustom DE300HD head $174.10 at time of posting.
Amazon.com: Kustom Amps DE300HD 300-Watt Hybrid Bass Amp Head: Musical Instruments

Reviews are mixed, but a 300 watt head under 2 bills is hard to come by.

Feel free to discuss. That's why this thread exists.
Wow! That looks a lot like the KXB500 in different attire! And with addition of a tube preamp. Screaming deal IMHO. Wonder if it has the B&O power amp module?

I have a Kustom DE115 cab that I got for $99 awhile back. Matches the look of that head. Use it every week at church.

Great stuff for the price.

Yes, it is HORRIBLY dated (ah the late 80's) and you MAY be able to find it on youtube, but this is still a very solid instructional dvd (originally VHS). Used to be $35...

Amazon.com: The Slap Bass Program: Alexis Sklarevski, David Schaub: Movies & TV

Also, you can NEVER have enough cable ties... $7.99 w/free shipping

Amazon.com: Monoprice 106462 6-Inch Hook and Loop Fastening Cable Ties, 50-Piece/Pack, 5 Colors: Electronics

Everything I know on slap bass I learned from that video. It is because of that program that I was able to create my video below. And fwiw, before that video I couldn't slap to save my life. And thought I'd never be able to.

If you don't care about colors, a 50 pack is $4.97 at Lowe's every day, and these are 2" longer. Invalid Link Removed

Do those loop thru themselves? I don't care about the colors, but I do like that they stay attached to the cable when you unwrap them... if the lowe's ones do, then that is an even better deal...

EDIT: reading the reviews, it looks like they do- score!

Both the Monoprice ones and the Velcro brand ones from Lowe's loop through themselves. I have plenty of both and prefer the Lowe's version myself. The Monoprice ones are nice and thick, which at first take seems like a good thing, but since they're already shorter than the others, the extra thickness means they aren't good for much more than a 15 foot instrument cable, depending on girth of the cable. I mainly use them for short cables and all the various computer cables I have at home. The ones from Lowe's are great for anything from 10 ft instrument cables, to 50 ft XLR cables, to 5 foot extra heavy gauge Speakon cables. The good thing about either is you can always slide one through the loop of a second one and make an extra long tie, you just can't leave it on the cable the way you can with just one.

Yep, the Velcro brand wraps from Lowes/HD are my favs also. I'm on my second or third pack and use them just about everywhere I need a cable wrap. They even work great on small headphone or charger cords and the like. I cut them to length as needed and they make a nice neat custom look. definitely a good value. I have also bought the bulk pack of wraps from Audiopile and for heavy PA speaker or extension cords those are a good option.
