Amazon Deals WITH Discussion Thread

Not that Spectors are really for blues and/or jazz cats anyways, but this is pretty metal... Bass Central says there were only 12 of these made. Good deal for a Spector Euro though... the black with red splatter is $2900...

Much more useful than whoever posted it in the "NO DISCUSSION!!" thread. :bassist: They didn't list the current price OR the normal price, which kind of defeats the purpose when Amazon prices can change in minutes.

Long, comfortable, very nice leather, 3.5 inches.

How difficult would it be to strip the finish off that Spector ? I keep picturing it glossy/matte black and I am digging it.
I wouldn't think that difficult, but you'd still have the "blood red" spector logo on the headstock and the inlays on the fretboard.

It is one of the few euros I've seen with the separate battery compartments as well (18 volt).

Wish those would go on sale! I snagged one years ago for around $25 on Amazon when the sharkskin version was unexplicably on deep discount. Still looks and feels as good as the day I got it.
Yeah, the Betty's are my current favorite. I have 5 of them, but got each of them when they were on sale. Still not cheap, even on sale. I still think the Pro Comfort Strapp is the most comfortable. I used them exclusively for many years. But for a big guy like me, I find that the Long isn't long enough, and the Extra Long doesn't sit right on my shoulder. The sweet spot of the strap is off a bit and the metal is too close to my shoulder. The Betty's, on the other hand, are just right for me. (Yeah, I know. That sounds like Goldilocks and the Three Bears...)

Now only $33.42
Note to self: Check Hot Deals more often...
Sorry man. I had to send a couple of these to my brother the guitard for his birthday. Must have triggered the Amazon beast to wake up and quadruple the price. :rollno:

I'm digging that we are free to have this discussion, guys! The Betty is nice. My absolute fave is the Levy 4" padded long strap. Totally comfy. Amazon very rarely goes nuts and sells them cheap.
