Amazon Deals WITH Discussion Thread

These have never really been on my radar, but that's hard to ignore (fortunately, I'm holding myself in check). Any ideas why it's so inexpensive? It's not a decimal error..
Perhaps Amazon just wants to get used inventory out of stock? I also wonder sometimes if the ratings of a product kick off something in the algorithm to dump a product? In this case, it shows less than 3 stars. I have no idea if it does or not, but it's interesting. Perceived demand low, so blowout?

I would have bought this already as a jazz modding platform as I like the body style, but nut width is too small for me. Neck is not Fender interchangeable.

Also, I have bought a number of used products sold by Amazon, and I have found their rating system to be VERY conservative. When it says "like new" it pretty much is new. Even a "good" rating is close to new.

For $95 bucks, you could have a decent bass you don't need to care about. Glad someone got it.

I was the one who bought it. I figured that I bought the Contego bass case that I absolutely didn't need, which meant that I needed a bass to put in it :D I looked at the online reviews and the main thing that stood out was the relatively light weight. I was looking for a 34" scale bass that wasn't too heavy. I also don't currently own a J bass and figured it's always worth having around. Never owned or played a Peavey bass, but I'm always willing to give a brand a try, especially at this price.

On a related side note, the Contego case is very sturdy and functional, but it definitely isn't light.

No, looks like a mistake.

Once I saw an Ashdown 800 watt pro amp listed for $24 dollars, so I bought 2. It was a different PLU but with the amp description. It happens.

Anyway, I consider Amazon the Nordstrom of the online shopping world and have returned a ton of stuff without any issue ever.

Not that Spectors are really for blues and/or jazz cats anyways, but this is pretty metal... Bass Central says there were only 12 of these made, amazon says it's one of a "Limited Run of 15 basses." Good deal for a Spector Euro though, plus it has an ebony board and a 3 band EMG BQC pre... the black with red splatter is $2900...
