New firmware update on the Erica Stereo Delay dropped today. They fixed the default start up issue I was having with the stereo spread. I haven’t done the update yet but they stated that was a fix!

if i had a dollar for every time i tweaked a compressor that wasn't on...
And then there's the corollary, for those of us who work in proximity to the great unwashed (and opinionated) public: Always have at least one gizmo in your rack, on your pedalboard, on the mixing desk, etc. that isn't connected to anything...so that when Joe Six-Pack wanders over to you in the middle of the gig and says "You should turn up the [insert nearly any word here: compression, chorusing, volume, lead vocalist's reverb, subwoofer output, air conditioning, whatever]" you can reach over, twiddle a knob, and say "How's that, better?"
Thread Drift: I need another bass like I need a hole in the head...but I really want a yellow 5-string Dingwall Z3! And not just because of Leland's.
I was totally lusting after 5-string Dingwalls the second half of 2023! I ended up going for a bottom-of-the-line Sadowsky - shoulda saved up my money!

I am! Would love to get one, but for now every batch sells in like two minutes. Bigger screen, better battery life and internal mic are nice additions
They definitely have an awesome sound balance an all ranges of the bass but man that F to G stretch on the E string (or C to D on a B string) is impossible with fingers 1 and 3. Gotta go upright simmandl style. (I already do that anyways)

I have yet to play a fanned-fret bass so would definitely want to check one out before seriously considering the purchase. I have four basses w/ 35" scale length and I play whole steps down at that end of the neck with fingers 1 and 3 all the time...but I believe the low B on a Dingwall is closer to 37"? I suspect that could get molto painfulo.
[edit: Whoops, I only have three basses w/ 35" scale length now; I just sold one yesterday. Slowly chipping away...to make room for a Dingwall!!!]
Yep its 37, for me its way too long of a stretch even for my usual hybrid simandl left hand technique.
But man do those low strings sound awesome. Especially when you go from frets 7 to 12 on the low B, E and A. So balanced and articulate. I almost got one when they dropped the P model a while back. But once I tried it I had to cancel those plans due the physical aspects of the scale.
One thing I must add is how easily one adapts to the fanned frets, 30 mins and it was on.
