I got a capo made for a 12 string guitar that's worked great. This is the one I got, though I'm sure there are plenty of other good options out there: Kyser Quick-Change 12-String Guitar Capo

Good suggestion. I’m dealing with a 5 string so this should be a step up.
I’m still considering piccolo strings too…
I mean, I guess I’m still a bass player even though I don’t play anything the way it was intended to be played

FWIW I've even used that capo on a six string.

The third longform collab with ambient guitarist Matt Borghi dropped today, probably my favorite of the three. I created the background textures on the big board and he put his stuff over it and mixed it in and out and tweaked the hell out of it.

Had a good couple listens now, including the real test—sleeping to it. It’s very “crystalline” in places. Also way more happening than I expected!

I’ve got some listening to do.

I got good feedback on my latest project submission.

I’m still considering a baritone. I’m also back to needling on bass but now with a capo. I need one with more grip than the version I have and/or a setup/adjustment. Anyone with suggestions for capos, let me knows.

yeah, i’m behind too.

somewhere i have a G7th capo that seems to be good (steve lawson turned me on to it). might be worth a look?

I watched live clips before the record.
I just recently discovered this project by Steve Von Till.
It’s not as good as Neurosis (then again what is ) but worth a listen
