Sitting on the sofa in the dark with the headphones cranked and running all sorts of droning nonsense through Reator, wondering if any of this will make any sense to anyone who hears it. This is what it is all about, folks.
Collaborator's feedback on draft 2 was positive.
I made some "ruthless edits" between drafts 1 and 2, and I had to cut away some of my sound design pride and "big ideas" to get to what is arguably a better deliverable for this project.

it’s not just shimmer.
imo, the whole reverb thing can clutter up a band’s sound and a lot of guitar players would rather use reverb than play rhythm.
if you use reverb all time, it can get pretty samey and sometimes it robs raw power from a sound/band.
