Unfortunately no. There was a point where I was really tempted, but couldn't find one at a price that made sense. I wound up with the Elmyra 2 and figure it's pretty similar in its general attitude.

The replacement Mesmerizer arrived, and it had exactly the same issue as the first one: mono effect only. I wrote to Maneco, describing how I'd tried different things to confirm it wasn't a mistake on my end, saying that I still thought it sounded great even in mono (just not quite like the videos), and asking if I should ship one back. He said, just keep them both. So now I have it in stereo (or serial, multiband, dual independent effects or whatever...)

I just released my new album this morning. There's more open space on some tracks, it's not *all* relentless drones this time. But still plenty of noisy drone textures to be had. There's one track that's solely the Miezo and a ludicrous amount of processing.
interesting. i’d been looking at some of the dreadbox stuff, especially the nyx. is it crazy/noisy enough? most of the vids i saw were people trying to make nice sounds and sequences (iirc).I’m considering buying a Dreadbox Erebus reissue, again. I had the original back when I bought my Nyx (which I still have), but sold it off at some point. There’s supposed to be a new Nyx reissue coming along soon, too.
Basically, I came to the realization my eurorack adventures have all been an attempt to recreate the Nyx with an enhanced interface. I recently got the Nyx out and started droning with it again and it took me right back to the excitement of first getting it. I then rewired some of my rack settings and found some great drone and quantized random sounds using the Algo oscillator, some filters, my Erica and OTO delays and reverbs.
Nothing recorded to share. Just figured I’d bump the thread and share some nostalgia.

Out comes the credit card again.
Never change, Japan. Never change.

Any of you experimented with Strudel? I don’t know if I could work in this environment, but it is great to watch the process.
I’m pretty sure @ugly_bassplayer would ventilate every drywall surface in reach
