i’m at least a year away from that level of expenditure. (and i’m secretly hoping that asm does something like the lovr child between the iridium or prophet x, and the hydrasynth.)

back in 77 or so i was touring with an artist who was an arp endorser (or just artist?). we went out to the factory outside of boston (iirc) and they showed me the guitar synth they were working on. i was too young ans stupid to really get it. one of those things that didn’t take off for them.
also interested in that dsp/slide combo. pics of slide bass?

I'm gonna play with some nested outboard feedback loops with a few of these cheap Wavefront DSP appliances I have on hand, your musings the other day reminded me that I need to do that. The board format is just a simple 15 patch format with no editing (think Nanoverb et al), so I need to figure out some outboard tweaks to spice things up a bit. But the basic chorus, chorus/verb and chorus/delay patches already sound very good, so for about a buck a board I think I already did OK. It's not the simplest project, I've already had to make up two of my own daughtercards and one more is in the works.

This one never gets old.
Oh, I'm at least a year away from that level of expenditure, but it didn't stop me. So much for the "I'm all set after the Wavestate" thing.
Gonna be a hell of a learning curve, but I do find that I'm very inclined to visual learning, and the touchscreen on this will certainly make me much more productive, than the old methods.
So this is the setup, then:

plust the beast pedalboard.
I think that's covering all the bases, even if I did want to plunge into the depths of noise/art that you all are so fond of, here. Kind of surprised at some of the chaos I've been able to make with the different noise samples in the Wavestate, I've made some truly chaotic and disturbing sounds. Diarrhea-inducing, even.
yep. i preordered and it downloaded last night.
it also uses the built-in device mic.

I'm gonna bust out a few bucks and get some crank strugeon contact mics.
Still on the fence between the xlr and 1/4 model.......1st word problems.....
Tape one to my bass and the other the the outdoor air conditioner.
