Sweetwater is having a pretty decent sale on the DigiTech Obscura delay pedal. I’ve not played it, but it seems feature packed for the price.

A quick recording indulging in the Caroline Meteore reverb pedal.
Wow...that was pretty nuts. Was everything with that reverb? You used it on the backing line and then all the noise and painting over the top? I need a reverb (and a delay) and don't know where to start as far as looking since there are SO many options and I'm not really sure what I need other than a nice reverb for bass only stuff but that thing sounds crazy!

Broke down and got a “dedicated” music laptop. Refurbished 2015 15” MacBook Pro. 2.2 i7, with 16 RAM & 500 hard drive. I’m loading up all my software today/tonight.
Test run shows at a 32 buffer size, with a frozen drum track in Ableton, I can keep the CPU under 5% and play live bass into it. That’s significantly less than my 13” which has a 2.7 i5 chip. The quad vs. dual core is probably helping out based on what I’ve read on the Ableton audio processing.
I almost popped for the 2018 MacBook, but I’m not convinced with those new USB connections and the adapters. Hoping I can get all my audio projects moved around and working properly before my next gig.
So, what I'm seeing is that the 2.2 i7 generally operates about as fast as the 2.7 i5. This is particularly the case with single synth plug-ins which chew up CPU (NI Rounds, or most delays/reverbs). Based on the benchmark numbers I've seen for single-core operation, this was to be expected. I haven't noticed any significant power of the multi-core with bigger sets. In Ableton, I've read that multi-core helps when you run multiple tracks, but I haven't worked any large multi-track projects yet.
What I am noticing is that I can run my bass (or other instrument) into the audio interface with a much smaller buffer size without choking the performance. This was a huge obstacle with the 13" i5 chip. I'm not sure how much of this is because of the multi-core processing of the i7, and how much is the fact that I'm now working with 16 RAM instead of 8. My reading has revealed that the extra RAM does help with sample instruments (Kontakt) but is less helpful with synth processing, since that generally doesn't use multi-thread processing. I'm wondering if the extra RAM is allowing for better audio handling. Combine that with the extra cores, and Bob's your uncle. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with the state of things with my new laptop.
My side band (kinda art punk) Prayer Flags played a show tonight and I opened the show doing my first solo, electronic set under the name The Snipecatcher. Kinda terrifying, but it went really well and got a great response. I really want to do more of that stuff! Mostly used my Octatrack, but played a bit of heavily effected live bass and some live ‘synth.’ Really just used the Waldorf Nave iOS app and a Keystep to control it. One friend politely accused me of using my computer to fly all the tracks because he saw my iPad. There were no tracks on the iPad, just one synth app that I played live. No more iPads on stage for me from now on. All hardware, so no musician pals try to accuse me of pulling a fast one
I should be getting a new hardware synth very soon, which will be incorporated into the live thing ASAP
