I did not.
Nothing like a deadline to inspire. I’m gonna be doing some live ambient streaming 10/15 at 8pm Pacific. Same collaborator I worked with last year around this time. I’m already digging in deep with the modules I’ve got and finding sounds. Let’s see if the Miezo and/or BNF5 will fit in this.
we did talk about david lee roth. does that count?

Nevermind, the Saturnworks passive expression thing does work, just a little differently than I thought. Still, gives you two envelope settings for a few bucks more. Very happy with it now!

So, since I had a Zen Blade in the apartment, I decided one way to fix single coil hum would be to try it. So it's in the touch guitar now. It sounds quite good actually, though I missing some of that lower mid slam from the Big Blade. Also way lower output but that's just a 1-second "input" adjustment on my Empress comp. Jury is out, but I'll be taking it to the forest for a week to woodshed. (Also to vacation and track vocals.)

i did a lot of oldies gigs back in the day. some of those people couldn’t sing (maybe ever), but some still had *it* (and probably always did).

Speed Tripper is an optical phaser placed in the feedback path of a delay circuit -and to our surprise- the results are incredibly unique. The repeats bend in and out of phase with one another, giving filtered, morphing swells that sound beyond psychedelic. It seems like such a simple concept; we were surprised we had never heard this before. The actual sounds of tripping! Slap on the DBA touch where “everything must be done to the extreme” and there you have it, you are tripping on speed!

i asked the guy how he knew it worked great since it won’t work now cause the plug is gone.
“I cut the cable off to remove it from my pedalboard that’s how.”
