Thanks! Regarding Ric tone, for me I pick pretty hard, and I think that's got a lot to do with how they sound, in my hands anyway.Pretty is not a problem!

Update on the Norand. I was doing something wrong with Live Mode--you can totally do the Elektron "reload" trick. And I've already found an undocumented feature and a bug. Now I just need to make some music with it.
