Honestly, it’s just because I have come around to separating editing samples and composition, so I need to do the editing, and I’m already at my computer too much. Think more “Cooledit” than “Cubase.”

Is it hiss or maybe it could be the floor noise you got by raising some levels at some point in the gain staging of your session?hiss in really quiet or sparse parts is a problem. a lot of times i can deal with some mess, but if i hear the hiss or it detracts from the music, it bothers me—a lot.
thanks for the recommendations.
So it’s some noisy modules in the Euro rack??some modules have more noise.
funny you mention that.I think this is certainly true in most cases, although I am getting better at designing sounds that sound good really low. I was doing some pedalboard sound design last night and came up with this killer thick string-like pad that sounded great on the open low B
My problem is certainly located about one foot and a half in front of the iPad screen.26049025, member: 37282"]I find low frequencies require different design ideas for pedals. Like, phasers sound great but not at the same settings that you’d use for a synth pad or a guitar.
In other news, TwistedWave has a very not beautiful interface but seems simple and highly functional as a stereo audio editor for iPad.
@Ugly: I think file management has gotten better on iPads. Some old stuff is still using AudioShare, etc., but newer programs can easily interface with Dropbox, your iPad’s hard drive, etc.
Perc or drifting firmware?26049335, member: 37282"]The fruits of last night's labour. Some sketches with just a voice recording and the Cosmos. I think this is going to work.

yes. hissy
It comes up all time with modular. Sometimes it bugs me and sometimes it sounds ‘musical.’ It’s a dead giveaway it wasn’t just a bunch of plugins and to me that’s a good thing![]()
