yeah, pretty much. It’s a lot easier to avoid crowds in Tucson than in NYC.
I'm heading for the trees. Planning to move out of Colorado this year and head to either New Hampshire or Michigan.
I was just in Tucson visiting family. I never left their house, but it made me think I need to get out of Hollywood. This place is a zoo, and the benefits I used to value aren’t going to hold me here.

The missus and I have been expressing that exact sentiment about NYC for several years now, so I suspect all this self-imposed temporary exile is really just laying the groundwork for an eventual permanent relocation.

Phone recorded snip of what I was up to this weekend. Sorry about the background noise.
Built a little patch with the Qu Bit Bloom going into the Zoia, using the Erica Osc/Filter/VCA modules. I wanted to get comfortable with improvising sequence changes using branches and paths on the Bloom. I eventually used a joystick to modulate those parameters, instead of just turning the knobs like a caveman. Used a Zoia delay and reverb patch, with the delay clocked to Pam's. Nothing too fancy.

Thanks. That little Bloom sequencer is pretty impressive. I'm trying to envision how to trigger chord/root changes to play along with. What just dawned on me is that I could create a Zoia keyboard and send that CV to the root control on the Bloom...
Now I have a plan for tonight
I'd really like to be able to "jam" with someone at some point and handle things like chord changes.
