American Standard

A few months ago I posted asking for advice on purchasing a new American Standard Fender Jazz Bass versus keeping the Squier J Bass I had. I received a lot of great advice. In the end I bought the American Standard. I was more than pleased. The American Standard is worth every penny. It plays so nicely. I may have gotten a poorly made Squier because I know many have said it is a nice bass, too. But I really noticed a difference with the MIA bass. Thanks for all your great advice. It really helped and made this forum valuable to me.

In my humble opinion, they are worth every penny. When shopping for my American Standard Jazz I played all the Squire offerings, the MIM offerings and the American Specials. No doubt there were some nice one's along the way. But the further up in price point I went I could feel the differance and when I got to the American Standards there was no comparison. I got the model with the maple fretboard, black body and the white pickguard. Perfect as is!

Congrat's!!
