Double Bass Amp crackling

I found out about this stuff after searching youtube for a how to video on cleaning out the innards of old receivers, and I'm now very happily enjoying my Technics (by Panasonic) SA-5170, both for radio and LPs. I'll keep the RS stuff handy should I get any scratchiness from my own Micro300.
 
Just a quick update. I've done several rehearsals and gigs with the Micro300, and it's still just fine. The cleaner spray seems to have dissolved the thick grease that's between the pot shaft and bushing, making the pot extremely easy to turn. I don't think this is a problem, but it points to using the cleaner extremely sparingly.
